vtec harness to the ecu
i know the engine harness is seperate from the harness that plugs into the ecu...my car is a 94 dx(no vtec) iv been using an msd activator thingy. how hard is it or what would it involve to get the wiring from the ecu to the engine bay harness outof a 93 SI and into my car? i stripped my car. and im about to remove the dash. im sure that will make it easier. and there is a 93 si in the scrap yard with fresh everything. has anyone ever done this?
if you got everything out like you say it should be a simple plug in harness. vtec is only like 2 wires thouhg and there are tons of diagrams on wiring them. easy just wire those 2 from the ecu straight into the bay and connect them where they go.

i pretty much did the same thing i have a 93 honda civic hatch dx non vtech or course so i took the whole under dash harness and dash from a 92-95 civic ex and did a non power to a power conversion and worked it out great!. got power windows mirrors and locks and vtech worked perfectly .then i sold it like a dumb *** lol
after the messy msd box, i tried that. it didnt work. i only wired 2 wires though like you said...dont you have to wire 2 more to get it to work? for a gsr. where is vtec 5500? i took it all the way to 6krpm no vtec. ill try again though. becuase i hate taking off fenders
