Default jdm power folding mirrors

ok so i just ordered a set of jdm power folding mirrors from eversping motorsports on ebay, i just got them today and here is my dilemma...
as far as i knew the power folding mirrors have the basic 3 wire connector, for the movement of the glass, and a 2 wire connector for the folding and unfolding. i already have a harness set up and working with my oem crx power non-folding mirrors. now i have made a new harness for the folding mirrors, ive added the relay and im ready to go as soon as my switch comes in. but my dilemma is this...i have 2 more wires on each mirror that were tucked in with the harness that comes off the mirrors. im in the process of uploading pics to show you guys what i mean. my mirrors are also metal i expected hard plastic like the other ones. does anyone know what these wires go to???

Not sure about the wiring myself, as i haven't hooked up my current set either. But i can tell you all the powered fold in mirrors are a heavier built metal base. They are also aimed wrong for a left hand drive car. I bought new mirror glass for mine, but have yet to install them either...hopefully this spring!

You may have another version of power mirror which are the heated ones, as some had that option.

you purchased heated mirrors.

I think if I can remember rightly there is 4 or 5 wires per mirror. should basically be either 1 or 2 connectors. You have three so you have the heated option.

check crx community there are a bunch of crx guys from europe on there.

I haven't confirmed this, but it was my understanding that its the curve of the glass. So i just went out and bought new mirror glass from the local Honda dealer.

na man that aint it.

the one I have seen is the regular power window switch square with the fold button as well as a little button that show the heat symbol. All in one.

They are hella rare.

try jdm password.

i know which switch is used for the folding mirrors...
Hosted on Fotki
looks like that but for the EF's.
what i meant was is the other switch i posted the one that is used to control the heated portion of the mirror? i was thinking of just tapping into the rear defroster switch that way it would work more like its supposed to.
that mirror switch above looks like a legend switch.

It looks like a regular power folding mirrors switch, except theres a button in the middle of the pad that you use to swivel the glass around. Wiring it into the defroster is a much better idea though.

The folding version has a smaller side selecter to fit a push fold button next to it (Like a regular PFM button).

I'm not 100% sure, But that type of mirror looks like it would never fit on my 90-91crx! It looks like they sold you ones for civic's not CRX's. Did you test fit them?

also, FYI...You use a heat gun on the glass untill the plastic rim heats up around it. Only then can you pop out the glass and get to the screws behind it! after you get them out of the trim, then swap over the mirror glass to the corect mirror for left hand drive!

yes they fit perfect, i had them on my 90 dx crx all day today. i took them off when i got home to spray them. the only issue i had was they hit my modified 90-91 civic hb visors. i took off one of the visors and they sit flush. they are currently drying and waiting for clear coat. i will take pics tomorrow after i re-install them on my crx.
