so this is weird, was on another forum and just randomly opened the the link to see, and its my car. my watermark at the bottom has been removed and replaced with there's.


should i just leave it, or should do something about it? doesn't bother me really, but he's selling replica fog lights.

I think you should. He's also misleading potential buyers into thinking that his cheap aftermarket foglights will mount up perfectly and look OEM.

I would do something about before someone comes up to you and say "I like those ebay lights" lol.

 

I would make them stop using it if you don't like it but depending on where they got the photo from, I wonder if it's legal.

 

he probably got it from this site, but he put his banner at the bottom of the photo where my watermark is.

yea thats crazy man,when i saw theses fogs i knew ive seen that teg before and I knew those fogs looked OEM.. no replica.. crazy! people are mested up for sure.. and they think they can get away with it

 

haha..I almost bought a set of those fog lights too....damn dude you should get some compensation because that ebay seller has been using your pic for a while.. I am sure their are some pissed off folks out there too!!

 

does crap fog's are blue they don't even look OEM and yes thar selles has been using ypur picture for a while

Does anyone know how to get them to stop using it when the seller continues use though? Eran's (Civic owner) car has to be one of the most used car to sell lips on eBay.

At least it's a REALLY old photo, but it still sucks.

The first page for "Civic lip 1996" has his car shown 6 times alone.

 

The lesson of the day is to watermark your images through the car, not beneath it.

 

As you can see with Eran's photo, they don't even bother to remove the watermark or even cover it up. They put their own watermark on, sure, but the watermark being there doesn't change that they're still using the images.

Eran has done that several times.

Only one person ever listened, and that was a private seller trying to sell a Mugen grille. Other than that, none of them listen.

This has been going on with his photos for over a year at least.
