d16Y8 head and d16z6 block...__what head gasket and belt ??___

I did search but found nothing ...

I'm bolting my Y8 head to my z6 block not sure what head gasket or timebelt to use...

I was told that the d16Y8 gasket is thinner is this true?

The y8 I believe is a 2layer OEM gasket. Between the Z6 and Y8 heads I dont think it matters which one they should be interchangable (dont quote me on any of this). But with the Y8 gasket it should bump your CR up a little bit. The timing belt I believe you would use the one with the head, in your case the Y8. Though it might not matter cause they too COULD be interchangable. Bump for this man
