Default Brake & Wheel problems...

I replaced my pads a few months ago and I haven't gotten around to replacing my rotors. When I jack up my car and spin the wheels, they all seem to grind/rub during certain points of the rotation. I'm guessing my rotors are warped and I need new ones?

Also my front wheels make a click..click..click sound when turning. Wheel bearings? Anyone know the approx. cost and labor involved in replacing the bearings?

Thanks.

no replacing the boots won't help me because the joints are shot. i'm replacing both axles right now. my question was if the clicking sound could be wheel bearings and what does it take to replace them.

usually the clicking noise you hear is from a bad CV joint. if you are replacing the axles, then you should be taking care of the problem.

If it is the bearings, they usually run about $30 per I believe, you can probaly find a cheaper price. The have to be pressed in and out of the spindle, but if you remove everything yourself, most shops will do the pressing for about $14-17, depends on who you know.

if you are replacing bearings make sure o get high quality (OEM) bearings instead of cheap crap that you will end up replacing again. Also make sure to verify that they are either both sealed or sheilded the same a friend oof mine recieved one of each kind when he purchased from a dealership. one flung grease everywhere
