problem with Skunk2 springs on AP2...
Hey guys I am posting this for my brother. He has an 04 AP2 and put his springs on today, but for some reason the passengers side sits higher than the drivers side. Has anyone else run into this problem? Maybe they need to settle? Any insight is greatly appreciated!
nope car is pristine, my broski called skunk2 and they said that set was not preloaded and you need to cut the bump stops off, so we'll go from there....
IIRC....
preloading the suspension means resting the car's weight on the suspension prior to tightening up the bolts. this is done by either tightening the bolts when the car is already on the ground, or by lifting up each wheel using jackstands to pre-load the suspension while you tighten up the bolts (tophats, shock towers, etc; everything you unbolted to install).
if i'm wrong, please feel free to correct me. i'm considering the purchase of tein s-techs and would also need sound advice on how to install them properly.
