Also I was wondering what kind of oil should I be running I have a b18c1 built with 11.5.1 compression and a built head and what not I am currently using castrol gtx 10w 30w and an oem filter any opinions on what I should be using.

If you problem is idling up and down, the only thing you can do is clean the two ports on the valve. I usually just spray some carb cleaner and then blow it out with air. Usually its the one with the screen that you have to clean thoroughly. As for the oil, 10-30 is fine.
