i like amsoil HDD 5-30. i would prefer 0-20, but i'll take the higher zinc and phosphorous content over better cold flow.

Torco.

I've logged my MPG and it is consistently higher than other oils by 5%. (5% more power!!).

5w-30. lighter oil increase gas mileage. idk about the b18c's but I know the obd1 b16a's says it should use 10w-30 while the obd2b uses 5w-30. i have a obd1 b16 and i noticed a difference from 10w-30 to 5w-30 in gas mileage for sure. i'm a mobile1 or castrol guy myself.

I use Torco now ... But I have always used Valvoline 10w30 in the past for years. Redline is also good. I think that Torco is better though.

But if it runs good with what you have been running then just keep running it.

i ran royal purple 10w40 in my boosted b16. gonna run the same in the boosted gsr.

i think royal purple is a pretty good deal at 6.99/qt.

oil temps come in huge when it comes to making power. dont think a certain oil will make a certain gain because you see it; unless you key in the right factors in a controlled environment.
