P13 ecu on an 01 5th gen
So I recently had a manual swap done. It works good and everything seems cool. BUT:
it runs good and all but sometimes i get an idle issue and my car just dies. i was advised that it could be an ECU problem since im running the MT converted AT ECU from my 5th gen (obd2).
it also feels like im not getting the exact response that i should be when i press the gas pedal . . .
im planning to get the P13 obd1 from a VTEC USDM 4th gen. would this help out alot? I heard something about the fuel mapping and how the p13 will help fix this problem. . .
also I heard there's an OBD1 P13 and an OBD2 P13. . . I know the OBD1 will need a harness which is I understand, but will the OBD2 P13 fit right in my car? Will I need to have Honda reprogram this OBD2 P13 if i end up getting that
any info would help guys!
Thanks a mucho!

I dunno what wire hacking that would have been done..
You can run a OBD1 P13 with a Harness Converter, yes.
The OBD2 P13 is from the '96 Prelude, and is EXTREMELY Rare and Difficult to find, not to mention expensive. It would not need to be reprogram or anything. They're all plug-n-play.

no wire hacking will take place Lol
if anything, i'll be using wire harness to connect OBD2 to OBD1. .
i think ive figured it out. thanks though
