Need help wiring obd-2 b18c5 into obd-1 5th gen Civic
What is the easiest way to convert obd-1 obd-2? Is there a wire harness adapter I could buy to adapt to the ecu? Also, does anyone know how to bypass the immobilizer?

I have a jumper harness that operates a OBDII engine in a 5th gen OBDI car. E-mail me for details.

Definitely stay OBDI, either use a 94-95 gsr ecu or 92-95 ex/si ecu. If you use the gsr ecu, you will have to rewire the IAB's to give them a 12V charge and swtich plugs A20 to A17 or get a skunk2 manifold and no need for IAB's.

Thanks for all the help. I am gonna stay with the obd-1 system with a p28 ecu re-chipped. I talk to the Doug from Hondata. He also said that was the best way to go. How much do the p28 ecu's go for?

Yep, staying OBD I is much easier......than the P73 crap I went through.
Kinda cool to have the R key though..!!

You can find a P28 ecu for like $150 or less, that's for a stock one. I'm not sure how much it costs to reprogram. Different programs might have different prices. I heard most programs are just copies of each other anyways but have different brands. Check out Thepartstrader.com, I saw like 5 people selling ecu's from 92-95 civic ex/si.
