Default how to put a passenger side mirror onto a stock 91 civic hatch

ive been told i can place a side mirror on the car, but as of right now there is a cover that is pretty firmly attached, instead of accidentally breaking the cover i was wondering if anyone had done this mod before and could tell me what to do to remove the cover and mount the mirror on.

i was told that the body of the car already had the screw holes for the morrir but came without it due to being more economical.

thanks in advance:D

i believe that plate should just pop out toward the back, its like a little ball joint, additionally there are a few tabs in the front. but you wont be reusing that peice anyway so dont worry, you will need an interior peice just like your driver side, but for the passenger side.

As stated before. Just do that it's cake. Took me a few mins at most way back when I did that.

I don't know how or why it was legal to sell a car with just one.

Most of the STD/CX Civics only had the driver side mirror...
If you look on older cars, there is only the driver side mirror.

yea i figured it would pry off but i just didnt want to f$%k it up.

i dont see how its even safe. it leaves such a blind spot in the car.
i noticed bun of older cars like that as well. the only good thing is that since its a hatch it has huge windowns in the back that help[ your view around you. thanks again everyone :D
