Im buying a gsr swap, the ecu was tunned for turbo and it has bigger r/c injectors. it was fully rebuilt and never had the turbo on for more than a 1000 miles and the receipt says it was a 900 dollar tune, question is can i use the bigger injectors and that tunned ecu without a turbo when i put it in my 92 civic without any problems, i just dont want to damage the engine, i wont be putting a turbo kit on till like next year, can i just run na for a year or so with no problems thanks guys

one more question, about the ecu.....lol if i do get this swap, if the gsr head says p72-2 does that mean its obd-2 for sure, i came across a 99-00 civic si b16 ecu will that work for a b18c just wondering so i can actually drive the car lol
Is the engine stock internally and are you using the stock intake manifold?
If you don't want to get it tuned, you need a p72 ecu, especially if you're running the stock intake manifold.
I believe on most chipped ECUs, you can just cut the connection where the chip is soldered in and it returns it to stock, and you would also still have the chip for when you want to go turbo. This would only work for you if it's a p72 and not a p28 or something.
You can find a virgin obd1 p72 usually for around $100. If money is a big issue, I would sell the injectors and use the money to pick up the stock ecu and some stock injectors. If you can't afford these little things, don't do the swap, because money will be a bigger problem if you half *** something as critical as fuel and engine management and you ruin the engine.
Also, I'd be sketchy about buying an engine that has been turboed, unless I REALLY trusted the person I was buying it from. At the minimum get a compression test if the engine is still in a car. If it's out of the car already you can do a leakdown test.

The code on the head has nothing to do with what obd it's running.
i had an obd1 b16 head that was pr3-4 and an obd0 head that was pr3-3
Edit: BTW, it's "tuned" not tunned"
