i recently scored this IHI turbo and i cant find any specs or much info on it at all..... so i am asking the turbo guru's on h-t to shed some light on it and educate me PLEASE!!!!

i openely admit i am turbo illterate/retarded, so lamens terms please. basically i was wondering what size this turbo it is and anything else you can tell me about it. if it is a good turbo and would it work well with a stock b18c i may try and piece together a kit and see what happens. thanks in advance.

also i think it has a 72 or 78 stamped on one side of the compressor wheel and a "A 8" on the other side.

subscribed, i own a RHC7 turbo, looks identical to this, i think our exhaust housings are the same?

 

have you used the RHC7? how did you hook up the down pipe??? is it a "v-band" ???

 

this is a one off turbo that spools at 3500 and supports 1500 hp! sweet!!!!!!

yes i had to weld in a v-band flange to use with my DP.
