Default Beaks Lower Tie Bar

I'm thinking about getting the Beaks lower tie bar and some Function7 LCA's. I was wondering if anyone had the Beaks bar on their EP or DC5 yet, because I guess it just became available for our chassis not too long ago. I'm mainly getting them for the Bling factor lol, so pics would also be good so I can see how good it will look lol. Also, I was wondering what rear sub-frame brace you guys are using, I searched a little bit but I can't find anything for our chassis. Thanks guys!!

Yeah, I just hate the fact that they make the car look so ugly. You have to admit they are a little ridiculous looking...

Well since you asked.....I alway advise people to replace the suspension bushings first. The ep3/dc5/em cars all have these things called compliance bushings in both the front and rear lca's. The bushing allow the suspension to change toe settings under cornering load....great for under steer, bit great for getting around turns fast. With out replacing these bushings, bracing up the unibody just does not make sence.

Sa for what I think is the best design.....
for the front, the curbing lood good....

and for the rear I hear that 3d still has some in stock.....those were the best imo....

Thanks Must!

What would be better between the OEM or Aftermarket Polyurethane bushings?

I know when I had my EG I was running Polyurethane then switched to OEM because the polyurethane kept on cracking on me... I don't know if they fixed that problem... I know I wasn't the only one with that problem cause other members had to problem too! But this was like 3 years ago...

The big problem with poly bushings is people do not read the instructions. You have to lube them or they will bind and tear or just rub away like a eraysor. I use spray on white lithium grease and mine are still fine after 2 years. I lube them when ever I am under the car but I am sure you can get away with it a couple times a year....if you fear the poly, mugen and hard race make hard rubber bushings....the mugen are major $$$ thought...

*shameless plug* Our new RSX subframe brace fits the EP3 chassis too.

The brace is the result of about 2 years of development with a few race teams out there. I'll leave that for you to judge for yourself:

thats nice, you do know that the ep3 lca have a different bolt pattern than the dc5 though? It looks nice but you are only tieing the unibody togather at 2 points. The 3d brase Ties togather all the lca mounts. This makes it a better design imo.
