Removing EK Door Handle.

Removing EK Door Handle.
I Cant find this anywhere, I've searched here, and the new search came up with nothing remotely close.
Any way i need to figure out how to get the door handle out of the door skin, I have removed the 2 10mm Bolts, and the retaining clip on the lock mechanism, yet there is this metal plate that won't allow it to come out either way, nor let the handle come out, I know there is a trick or something im missing, Anyone who has done this prob. knows what im talking about.
