Well...just got some good news from the Body Shop...
1. Found out that they didn't have to cut the b-pillar out, they were able to pull it out without a problem, and they will have to use a very small amount of filler just to finish the contour of the metal.
2. Might have my car back as soon as Friday. or as late as Monday depends upon when the glass guy shows up to install the rear hatch glass so that they can finish the contour of the roof.
3. They are mixing up some extra paint for myself, and Iggy so that we have som touch-up paint.
Good news on Monday is always good.

I ******* HATE BODY SHOPS!!!!!
They just told me that the FAL rear window will not fit, as it's too large, which I think is total BS. I'm having them remove Chris's window tomorrow morning and we'll install the FAL in his car within the next 2 weeks...and if it fits perfectly I'll be having a a conversation with the glass guy about incompetence
I picked up the F.A.L and dropped it on the opening.. PERFECT FIT.
*mental note, DO NOT EVER have that glass shop DO ANYTHING for me EVER!!*

LOL...I think a certain glass company just didn't want to install the aftermarket window...
Austin if you have not "sold" the FAL to Chris... then install it yourself and tell the autoglass guy to kiss your ***!
If it's a done deal with Chris, then put up some more pix of the FAL on his car durring the install.

The glass guy must be pulling your leg... they just don't feel confident enough to try something new.
That thing looks sweet!
Please inform as to the weight differences compared to OE and tell us how the DIY install goes, if you choose that route.

The stock rear window is ~$800, FAL for me was $330 shipped overnight.
Weight loss is ~10-20 lbs, not well documented, so the weight loss is unknown.
In order to not lose out on the $$$ that I had already spent on the rear window I traded Chris for his stock rear window...I'm a little pissed off on this, and I'm going to be providing photos to the glass company to inform them that I was really unhappy and that my car sat idle in the body shop for 5 days...the body shop is mad at me for the piece not fitting(that's what the window guy told them), as they couldn't finish the car until the rar window was installed...

let's just say that I'm really pissed off about this whole matter
