Default Clutch and Engine Break-in question

I just got my motor back from the builder and I'm putting in a new clutch and from what I read you don't want to run a motor with aftermarket internals for too long before you take it to get tuned but wouldn't I wanna break in my clutch before it goes to the tuner?

BTW its a d16z6 with Eagle Rods and Vitara pistons and its turbocharged and I'm aiming at 300whp

thanks

I built my GSR wiscos/scat rods
I ran my motor easy for 300 miles, and then changed the oil(standerd valvoline 10w) and that was it!
The only break in on a short block is the piston rings! You wont them to seat themselves and not shift(turn spin whatever)

The clutch I heard of breaking in but i dont know how
