Default question about clutch holding power.

My brother is about sleeve his block as well as throw in JE pistons and carillo rods. He had boughten an Exedy Stage 2 4 puck clutch since his OE clutch wasn't holding after his dyno. He put down 231hp on 5psi. what we are wondering is how much would that clutch hold till.

we were thinking somewhere in the realm of 350whp? on like 10-12psi? would that clutch hold that?

I had some clutch holding the power questions my self and you're not going to get alot of replys.
It's better to focus on what torque the clutch would hold. I know that the stage1 exedy is holding arround 175tq you can try to eyeball it from there, but are you sure it's a 4 puck disc? I thought the stage2 was 3 puck.

wait, so its a stage 2 but its a 3 puck? thats kinda strange. but i would say should be able to hold at least 400whp. but yes, clutch ratings go by torque

there's a thread talking about exedy clutches https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1952106 . though no one has come up with an actual torque rating from exedy yet, i doubt the stage 2 will hold 400 hp. that seems a little high considering that the stage 1 is only rated for something like 30% torque over stock.

It would be really beneficial to get some kind of statment from Exedy, since now i decided to sell my stage1 and go with a different brand to be sure. But i also thought of just getting the 3puck disk and be "safe" but i didn't know how much would that one hold so i had to go a different route.
