vtec solenoid bad or sensor!?

i have a swapped h22 and it has a rough idle on occasion and is not hitting vtec...still goes thru entire rpm range? anyone have any ideas as to it being the solenoid or sensor? please HELP!!???

do u have a CEL on. This is the wrong forum for this

wat is a CEL again? im kind of new to this kind of thing. just tryin to find some advice? wat forum would you suggest?

sounds like your oil level might be too low. CEL meaning a check engine light on your instrument cluster.
What ecu are you using? you might not have the right ecu, and thats NOT good for your h22.
