brake issues help asap almost crashed
i have a 95 civic ex coupe..
my brother says he took the car to get the brakes changed not too long ago..
when i push the brake it almost goes all the way in before i start to slow down...also when im at a red light i have to release and push it back in because it slowly goes further in and the car starts to move,,,,
how can i fix this??

You need to bleed your brakes. It needs to be done at least 3 to 4 times. If that doesnt solve it then it must be a problem in the brake master cylinder or in the brake booster. Have it checked asap before someone gets hurt !
once done bleeding and you dont have a pedal, check for any leaks underneath or the master losing fluid. If no leaks present and the fluid is up to par but you pedal is still moosh, may want to leak into a master or booster
i had a similar problem with my 98 hatch, i had put in new brake shoes in the rear and it felt very low and stopping power was little to none. the fix was the star adjuster needed to be adjusted on the brake drums once that was adjusted my brake pedal felt normal. hope this helps.
