Some wheel fitment questions etc...
So ive got an 06 si coupe, and ive been shopping for some wheels etc but honestly i dont know jack **** about what fits tire wise etc. i havent dealt with the 8th gens AT ALL mod wise as my si is completely bone stock lol
all ive ever dealt with is older gens and my eg... which is fully built, boosted, tucked blah blah....
what im looking to get is more than likely going to be some 17 in enkie rpf01's but not sure if i want 17x7 or 17x8, and what size tire to run... originally i was just going to go with some 215/45 neo gens but the more i think about it, there has got to be a bigger tire that will fit
im also looking at slightly dropping the car but i really dont want to drop the coin on camber kits and all that etc. due to this being my dd and i dont want to start spending all my cash on it... ive got WAY WAY to much into my eg and its my toy....
cliffs....
what tire size, rim width, and drop springs can i get and not worry about rubbing
thanks for the help in advance

i havent even gotten into offset yet honestly lol i was trying to keep it simple and only ask a couple of questions to start
im not looking at some crazy retarded staggered fitment or fat lip setup, probably +42 ish

If you're going on 8" wide wheels go with an offset lower than 40mm.
You don't want to spend money on camber kits but you want to spend some for lowering springs? HFP suspension drops less than 1 inch and won't require additional hardware to correct the camber, simple alignment will suffice.

i dont want to spend the money on camber kits if they arent needed for a minimal drop, if an alignment will suffice
basically im not trying to spend all of my money on my dd as id rather spend the money on my hatch. if it is a necessity then so be it but if i can get away without it that would be better

i would go with some 17x7.5 +48 offset that would be just like the stocks. i had some te47s in that size for my 07 si sedan and had no rubbing issues at all.
Who knows how wide the rim can be with no rubbing and so forth?, I have an 09 coupe si, and want 18's. with a higher odd set. Can anyone suggest somthing?

mine, 17x8, +45. 215/45/17 in this pic
you can kinda see the tire stretching in this pic. i was on springs at the time and it would hit the fenderlining when i would hit a dip on the freeway. one time it got so bad it tore it right off.
now im on buddy club coilovers on the stiffest setting with 225/45/17. it rubs when i make semi hard turns. 2nd pair of fenderlining and its getting shaved off little by little.
edit: oh i found a better pic showing the stretch
