What is the best brand for a stage 2 clutch for a 95 GS-R?

"Stage 2" huh? When looking at getting a clutch, you want to compare the torque capacity, not just what "stage" it is. This isn't Gran Tourismo

By "stage 2" I'm assuming you're looking for a street/strip clutch. ACT has a pretty decent street/strip. I had that on my DA w/built LS. It wasn't that bad for a DD. Spec has a good s/s clutch, but some people that tried driving with that clutch don't like the feel. It's more of a digital (on/off) kind of feel. Personally I prefer that feel.

well im running an act extreme preasure plate and a full face sprung disc also i have drive hondas with the spec clutch both are great the main difference i noticed is you can feel more of the weight of the clutch through the pedal the spec clutch has a real light pedal feel and to TheHypnotic no disrespect but the on off feel only happens when you have an unsprung full face disc or a puck disc but in the spec there is a small spot where it can slip just a little with a unsprung or puck disc

True...forgot the mention though, in my past experiences with those two clutches. They were being used in combination with lightened flywheels.

I am selling an ACT 6 puck hd clutch. I also have an ACT prolite flywheel. $280 for clutch and $200 for flywheel. They both have app. 500 miles. This is an incredible price!

If you want a good clutch for daily driving, but still has good grip...look into the Exedy 2 Cerametallic. It will hold more torque than your setup will make and it will last a while. I put 216wtq through it without problems.

are you planing to mod your car more? if not just get an exedy stg 1. your car is pretty much stock and prob pushing 130tq at best. stg 1 is more than enough. also, are you gonna take it to the track or just want something alil more aggressive?

i'm gonna run an exedy stg 1 for my ls/vtec hoping to get into 200+hp/160+tq. i'm going with this setup because its my dd and i've had experience with hard clutch/pp, and it kinda sucks when you're stuck in traffic.
