Default Super air flow converter questions

hey guys i just got a eg four door with a d16z6. it has a three inch diameter SRI, 4-2-1 header, and a Tsudo N1 style exhaust from the cat back. i think its 2.5 inches in size. the motor otherwise is stock. The previous owner had the safc set for a leaner mixture, it reads 18.9:1 at WOT, between .4-.7 at idle (600 700 rpms). The timing is at its stock setting and i always run 93 octane. I'm not worried about gas mileage, i would like to make the most reliable power with what i got. just curious on some info on what you guys think i should set my afl's at or if it is suffficient the way it is. Let's say i have it tuned to run between 15-16 afls at wot. would i notice any difference? This is the first time i have used an safc so any tips or info would be great.
