I am so mad I can spit right now!


Woke up today to find the TL with it's hood peeled back like a can of sardines, yep you guessed it! Some stunna assclown scored some HID's for his Civic last night...

I have no choice but to report it to the insurance cuz it's at least $3000 worth of damage. 1 fender, 1 hood, 1 grille, 2 headlamp housings, 2 HID ballasts, @ HID bulbs + paint and labor.

 

That is messed up...

 

its gotta be a civic owner.......i bet it was "chad" on this board.

 

damn, i didnt know you could use the Tl HID's in a civic...hmmm....no but really ...that blows ....sorry bout that man

 

you can when you do one of those ghey TL front end conversions.. or just do a custom bumper that'll fit the lights.

Actually they dont need the headlamp housing, they just ****** & grab those because the ballast and bulb is all in one unit. They scrap the headlamp and just adapt the bulb to a Civic/Teg headlight and the all they have to do is mount the ballast. No TL conversion neccesary, remember this is NYC not Cali

it doesnt pay to have anything but a sleeper looking civic anymore.
im glad my area aint that bad, and when it does im in a smaller area so i know where to point fingures to . and let thje heads roll from there.

all of the (most-likely-stolen) HID cars in my town are tegs... not hatchcraps....

Here, the cars that are most commonly annointed with stolen HID's are '94-'01 tegs, '92-'00 Civics, and, '94-'97 Accords.

 

If its not B18c5s its HIDs, when will this crap stop.

 

I have seen lots of TLs running around town with empty headlights...I am worring about my own now.

There must be ways to protect our headlights.
