B16 Drivers Side Oil Leak
I swapped an Obd1 B16a in my 90 Crx Si. Everything runs okay, but there is a oil leak on the drivers front of the block, it runs along the front of the block someplace above where the a/c compressor would be. Currently the a/c is uninstalled until I get a hasport bracket. I thought it was the valve cover gasket and replaced that. It helped in the amount of oil lost but it still leaks some. Im thinking a cam seal, but normally that happens on the other side. The place I got it from will replace it, but there about an hour and a half away. If it's simple or semi-simple i'd rather tend to it my self.
Edit: I should mention there is no coolant loss or intermix of oil and coolant, car doesn't overheat at idle.

there are little rubber seals that slide onto the cams behind the cam gears, they are likely not sealing anymore and probably need to be replaced.
Did you use little dabs of sealant on the 4 or so little flat spots of the VC gasket when you changed it?

No, it was a FelPro gasket kit and the permadry warning said not to use any additional sealant. Im assuming that I should have used additional sealant? As for the cam seals, I guess they are replaced just like the pass side ones?
not really, you need to pull the cam gears off, and that requires the timing belt to come off. Alot more work than the passenger side oil seal IMO.
U still have to dab the 4 corners of the valve cover with rtv or hondabond. It clearly states that in the service manual. BTW I have the same gasket set on my car and still dabbed those corners
