power door locks stop workin
year- 99
make- acura
model- gsr
alarm- python 990
door locks stopped working a long time ago. thought i maybe could fix it myself. went out there today to mess with it, no go.
i think the wires may have gotten messed up, cause im running no fender liner. so maybe water damage or somethin. everything else on the doors work tho so i dunno. i can adjust my morrors, roll down windows and all aswell.
doesnt lock when i push the lock button on the remote either. passenger side is the same way. it wont look by the switch or the remote. the fuse is good. my alram will read its locked, but the door doesnt actually lock
anything maybe that im missing? im going to try another switch from anothe gsr to see if that helps.

Ok. your factory door lock module is in the driver door behind the panel.
1) remover the driver side panel.
2) check the door lock module by clicking the factory door lock switch.
3) if the module makes a clicking noise lock or unlock then open the module to check for bad soldier joints.
4) if the module makes no noise then check the boot going into the drivers door.
as time goes on and opening and closing the door casue the wire(s) to break apart.

you should check the orange and green and blue and green i believe, you should see these wires coming from the alarm tapped into the door lock wires, check if they came loose and it should be located on the drivers kick panel.just follow 2 wire going from the alarm to the lower kick panel by the firewall,,and you should also see one wire through the fire wall for your siren wire.also sometimes you have to reprogram the alarm if it ever acted up to get the door locks working again.
cause my car alram siren is cut. its been cut for awhile. now that i think about it. been planning on relocating my siren just never hooked it back up. i believe the alarm door wires are connected still.
and yes i checked the bay fuse box and cabin fuse box.
