will my HID's work for a jdm front end conversion?
i have a 01 integra gsr with HID's and i was planing on doing a jdm front end conversion. my question is, would my HID's still work with the jdm front end conversion or will i have to replace them and get new ones for the new head lights?
If you have a non-HID JDM front end you're old HID kit will work. If not you'll just need to pick up a pair of D2S bulbs and D2S to Amp connectors to make your old kit work.
Mind you, that you'll be blinding oncoming drivers cause the jdm beam pattern is like this
---\____----\_____
But you need it to be ____/----____/----- if your in the North America

You'll have to pull the lamps apart, and reverse the shields. Flipping the pass one 180 degrees and putting it on the driver's side....same with the driver's side.
The shields are the part of the projector responsible for the shape of the cutoff. If I understand correctly, the shields are removable. So, you should be able to remove them and swap them out.
