Ok so check this out...i bought a 95 civic DX about 2 weeks ago (first honda) and has the d-b7. well i thought it was going to be REALLY slow b/c of the non-vtec 1.5. and its actually surprised me its kinda quick for what it is. well my friend has a 92 teg with a b18a1 in it...and we gave em a run the other day rolling from about 30 and stayed side by side until 65 and he started pullin on me SLOWLY. I also had 2 ppl (including me) in the car...and it was just him n his. (both manuals) so am i right on the "kinna quick" or maybe just an A1 that needs a tune up??? cause i figured he would leave me!!

ok...so the B18A1 is not so great either?? cause i thought those were good/quick motors....

 

Well depends on who you ask. I know a guy that think's his (low)12 second daily driven Mustang is slow, and I know a guy that thinks his absolutely bone stock 94 Civic EX is the fastest car ever. But honestly... no, the B18A1 isn't "great" either...but it's sort of a good start.

 

the integra is somewhat heavier. it also sounds like he's not that great of a driver because he should have spanked you, or at least beat you better than he did.

 

i have a 94 coupe with a d15b7. its freakin dirt slow omg i need a swap

thanks destruction...u always post something that is the most helpful. but anyways for (white civic) no i dont really think its fast at all..its slow and i really dont care to say it. (what i was saying was its kinna quick for a non-v and a 1.5... i had a 91 supra with mild bolt ons running 10 LBS. and i thought it was slow after awhile. i had to get rid of it and get this civic b/c i got in alot of trouble and had to get a lawyer and deal with the justice system and the only thing i had left over was about 1400$$ AND just like destruction said i was just wondering why i did so good against a B18A1.
