puttting in a dohc vtec motor and was wondering if its ok to use the stock dx harness? do i have to add/remove wires to make it work. any feedback appreciated.

 

of course, less hassles then using JDM harness (as it doesn't work)
for dohc vtec swap its only 4-6 wires at most to be added which is very easy

 

Yes, only a couple wires to add, no biggie. If you are good with wire loom, it will look like stock.

ya, just like the others said plus i think there are a few wires that need to be lengthened. also, this willl only work if the new motor is an OBD1 engine. if it's not, then you will need to get the connectors for alternator, injectors, and distributer off of an ODB1 engine and put those on there.
