Default Ooops! i ****ed up!

so i didn't put the hardner in my clear coat... can i just respray with the hardner in the clear coat or am i ****ed.. sorry it's my first time painting so what can i do...

wait for it to dry lol but i doubt it will lol you gonna have to sand it off or use thinners and rubb everthing off done to primer .... ive never done it before .... sorry cant hlpe

yeah,as said above it will never dry properly no matter how long its left, i have seen this b4 and also mentioned above only way i seen it fixed is too wipe it all off with thinners thoe it can damage the primer and any filler underneath it and is very very messy.

Wow, that sucks...wipe it off with thinner. It will never get hard enough to be acceptable.

Wow. sucks major.

I might try to scrap it off with something, as long as you don't damage the base coat, you'll be fine. Maybe a razor blade, gently. No idea....

I saw this thread title and thought, wow this is a title I should be using, because I'm always screwing things up left and right.

man that sucks.i seen your posting the other day.i didnt know what to tell you.other than what has already been mentioned.man that would suck to have to scrape off all that new paint.

The only thing that i would suggest would just be to go to a paint shop and ask for their opinion obviously they are going to tell you to bring it to them, but just ask what they would do in your position.

if its still wet enough you can use reducer to wipe it off.

well your gonna have to sand that **** off....and its gonna suck up ALOT of sand paper and then you will most likly have to seal it then base it then clear it

unless you wait a few weeks, its not going to dry...and it will never dry enough to be even remotely acceptable. Wipe it down with thinner, your going to have to redo the base and primer depending on what primer you used
