After filling in dent do i have to use putty??

After filling in dent do i have to use putty??
I just sanded down to metal on a hood than body filled it in, than sanded smooth, than i primered just to see how it came out and theres a cravises. Do i need glazing putty??

A lot of the time, if you apply the filler appropriately, you can avoid getting holes and lines and things like that in there.
You can use a glaze to go over the pin holes and small stuff, but I wouldn't slop it on to fill major gaps. If there are a lot of hole or low spots, go over it again with more filler.

yeah, use a very light coat of bondo though. you want to try and get the dent out as far as possible before applying bondo. to much and it could crack later on.
