Icon6 CARBON FIBER OXIDATION> please help

so i just picked up this carbon fiber oem replacement for my DC, the hood is oxidized. i tried using rubbing compound and as well as a clay bar. it did nothing. i think i can do a 1500 grit wet sand then a 2000 grit wet sand then compound, but i am skeptical. is there another way to remove this stuff?? i don't own a buffer. or does anyone know somewhere that will do it, if i cant get around using a buffer. thanks guys i look forward to all youe comments.

Carbon fiber doesnt oxidize. Not sure what you mean, but the only real thing to fix imperfections in the epoxy or clear is to wet sand and apply clear.
