Run the engine until it is fully warmed up. Turn the engine OFF, disconnect the 2P connector from the sensor, and use a multimeter to measure the resistance across the 2 terminals of the sensor. If the reading is not in the range of 200-400 Ohms, then replace the sensor.
were exactly is the water temperature sensor located?
iam looking online trying to find some pictures to show me the location of the sensor but i cant find any.

i have another question.
would the change in temperature make the car act up? because today its way colder than the past previous day when my car first started to mess up. i had no problem with the car starting or idling nor a check engine light???

It probably just means the problem is intermittent. The issue will likely soon return, so troubleshoot and fix as soon as possible.
that's what i figured. i plan on trouble shooting and fixing my problem tomorrow.
since it will be warming up here soon. cant afford to be stuck anywhere
thanks for your help bro.
