jdm headlight install
ok the other day i got the headlights and i tried to install them to see how they fit, and i took the usdm headlight off the bracket and i was going to put the ef9 headlight on and it dident fit. i have a 89 civic im not sure if i need a 90-91 bracket. or is there a different way?
remove everything that is attached to the factory headlight, the jdm needs NO bracket at all, it bolts straight to the front end.
im guessing you still have the skeleton for the usdm headlight bolted in, just remove it!
your front end should look like this when you are doing the install
notice the lack of headlight brackets

its a crx but same idea for civic

ahh they did, i just never had the sir front end before, and i never new how the hooked up, no one that lives by me has one but one guy that i know of, but thanks for your help.
no its just my sir hood and bumper filler are still being shipped still, thats why it looked weird. but i thought that you still needed the brackets,

well since they are only one bulb how do you do install them, since my stock headlight has 2 bulbs, i have eg bulbs and wiring if that will work.
BTW, check out the FAQ section, there's a writeup for jdm sir front end conversion. Everything is there.
