Default Tilton Single Plate clutch

Anyone know or have any pictures of how and when I ask how to install the clutch set up, I am referring of I heard stories about grinding down parts of the trans and the flywheel bolts to make the clutch fit. Any advice would help...

You would also think that a company like Tilton would make a clutch that fits with zero mods, especially a single disk.

The Tilton Single Plate disc actually has been discontinued for a couple years. It was introduced YEARS ago before all the Twin disc brands popped up. In most cases where you need a higher end clutch(not the basic disc and flywheel) to hold the HP, its best to just get a Twin disc. I know Tilton offers different flywheel weights, pressure plate capacity and even 3 diff disc materials to suit your needs.

you can still buy the the single disk it works very well for all motor apps. its a good clutch i ran one for 3 seasons zero problems just set the tranny on the motor and rotate you will see where it hits not very hard
