I have a 94 gs R swap in my eg6 and i have a ticking noise coming from the block. I took care of the valve clearance so the head is in the green. The higher i rev the louder the ticking, can someone shed some light on the situation plz? thx in advance.

 

Drain the oil, drop the oil pan and look for bearing material.

 

first, try unplugging 1 plug wire at a time and see if the ticking goes away. record the sound for us
