worth the upgrade? S200 to S300
I currently have Hondata S200 and was considering upgrading. I'm about to strap on a built GSR head on a Type R block with skunk2 stage 2 cams, custom intake man and a 70mil TB. Just curious if its worth the money.
Most tuners would prefer you upgrade as well.
Not to mention that if you ever need to change any settings down the road, you can do it yourself, easily, with the S300, by just plugging in the usb cable and making the necessary changes.. No need to find a chip burner..

I love it when a customer has an s300 system, plug in & tune away :-)

omg really? id sell a hondata s200 or s300 in a secound. few hundred dollars for it and replace it with a free editing software like Crome, or spend only 130$ for Crome pro and have it ALL for cheap. hondata is user friendly sure, but its not worth the money, not even close.
the S300 will be better than the S200 if you plan on tuning it yourself. If you are paying a tuner anyway and you are not going to mess with it once its tuned then you should save your money and keep the S200.
I love my s300. At that if you are boosting than I would go with the s300 b/c once the tuner is done he can turn down the boost for the street and you can turn it back up when you want. Plus boost by gear is great and you can play with it when you are at the track to get your times etc. down. But if you are just dd and not going to boost I don't see the point to waste the money if you are allmotor since there isn't much you can do in less you have a good wide band.
You're the idiot if you think Crome is better than the S300. You obviously have very little tuning experience.. On that note, let me know how well the PWM boost control works with Crome.
