Radiator fan won't turn on
My radiator fan won't turn on, ever. I don't know why. What are some simple things I can look at to trouble shoot, or somethings I can tell you guys to help me out.
Also to help me test whether or not it works in this process when idling and not moving, when should it normally turn on? after a few mins?

um when i got myn it didnt work and i had to swap some plugs and stuff and i waited like a hr or so for myn to come on so mabe u didnt wait long enuff
it's on the back of the block near the oil filter and it can be tested as follows:
also check your fan fuse and relay. you can also hardwire the fan to the battery to test the fan itself. i did that first.
I tested the fan, it works.
I tryed to test the relay, but.... it doesnt seem to be working. As with any other relay I should hear it click when I energize the coil right?

You should hear/feel a click.
Did you do the test(s) outlined above?
How did you test the fan?
My AC fan relay was dead when I got the car. I grabbed a handful of relays at the junkyard for $5. Now I have spares.

Why would it matter how I tested the fan as long as it spun? As long as the fan spins....the fan is good.
I did not do the tested outlines above, because I only tested the relay, and I only did the relay tests.

test the fan switch by unplugging the signal wire ( i think its yellow/green, the other is the ground and is black so not that one) then connect it to a ground. If the fan works its your fan switch not the relay.
this is alot easier than taking the thing all the way out and sticking it in boiling water or testing the relay as the manual states
