Default 1990 civic cx hatch died while doin 70 k

i was doing 70 k downshifted into 4th, cuz i was going up a little hill, and it just died, it had no oil in it, and when i tried to fire it it sounded like a tin can poping, i put oil in it and tried starting it, the noise kinda went away but more or less, just made it quite. dont know if the timing is off. when i took out spark plugs #1 &4 had oil on the tip(piston rings)?. the distributor cap has some wierd thing on the inside like someone was sanding it. on the one side.

any one got n e help

You were driving your car and had no oil in it, and now you're wondering what the problem is...?
