Hey I have an 88 civic with the D1.5 efi motor it recently died while driving down the interstate it started hesitating then quit. When you turn the key the car turns over, gets gas, but is not starting. I took the plug and wire out to check for spark and when the car was turned over it would only spark one time right off and then it wouldn't spark as we continued to turn the car over. I checked the ecu LED and it would flash 10 times and then 16 times in sequence. I am going to double check the sequence. Im not sure if that sounds like a dead dizzy, or what? Any stabs at it would be appreciated.

 

Ok earlier I went to see what the light pattern was on the ecu but there was no light at all at any point of ignition. I was reading that it is supposed to light one time at ignition but I am unsure of this.
