Upgrade to the MPFI its super easy...the DPFI wont supply enough fuel for the new head anyways

Goto a junkyard or somewhere to buy the crap...theres old threads that tell you howto do it all...Ive even made a thread like 5 years ago...might not come up anymore...who knows seard MPFI in the EF forum archived not just recent, good luck its simple wiring and all easy when u have the intake manifold off your gonna swap the head may as well do the manifold too!

if you didnt wire vtec and do the mpfi, then of course it's going to be slow. It's on the non vtec lobes all the time.....

please tell me you didnt actually expect a horsepower gain my downgrading to a far less aggressive cam profile....

wire the vtec, you're running out of cam completely by 6,000 rpm

pretty useless if you ask me.

rywire does something close to that but you have to send them both of the harness and so you cant by it straight from them pretty stupid and a rip they want something like 200 for some tape and some cuts

i mean sourcing the manifolds and everything. i know there are available wiring sources. but if everytime someone said i wanna do a mpfi, you could just send them to one place/person who sells complete kits they have pieced out.

You already know you should go MPFI to get any real gain from this, but... for arguements sake, I bet you could do DPFI with the Z6 head and just run vtec off an RPM activated switch and maybe an adjustable fuel regulator or something to deal with fuel. Fuel would be the big issue IMO.

Apekd is working on a ton of harnesses, and Monotech already makes premade MPFI Harnesses.

Who are they? And so they can build me an OBD1 B series harness cheaper than the $500 that rywire wants for theirs?
