Default Traction/Street tires

Aside from driving skill ...what are the most recommended things to buy which will help keep traction (for dragging) in a higher whp/tq R .. since the ITR's fwd makes 1st/2nd gear tough?

Which will be some of the most usefull and must haves? Dont want to use slicks.

2-step launch control?
ZM Engineering Traction Bars?
Suspension?
Drag Radials?
Motor mounts?

Other recommendations?

Jon

No way around it, You need drag slicks or your going to spin the tires.

Whats up with the ATS first gear ??

Jon

PS. Well, i am wondering why do i hear stories of turbo integs smoking C5 vettes on street tires? Is it because their whp is high enough to allow them to win in third gear?

ATS 1st = taller = less acceleration

To give you an idea of traction issues, i can just press the gas down in 1st, 2nd,
and sometimes 3rd and spin the tires. I can easily roll a c5 vette, but only if i
start from 60-70mph. I say this all the time, but a base model civic can eat me
alive from a dead stop or from any low speed if i use any more than 1/4 throttle.

you dont have to have that much power to not have traction , , , ,there really isnt much of a way around it . i still even break my slicks loose. .
good luck let me know when you found that right combo cuz ive been looking for a while
