i have a 89 crx with a 93 b18 b1 swap. when i get it started the idle sits at 1000 and then shoots up to like 2100 and then drops to a constant bouncey idle at 1.3 to 1.5 and sometimes it stalls a few seconds later. when i gas it, it wants to stall as well. sometimes i can get it warmed up and gas it, but it wont go above 3000 rpm, it gets to 3000 and stalls and sputters. i also drove it down the street and it sputtered and stalled under a load as well. can anyone help me please?! thanks!

 

sounds almost like a fuel issue...when was the last time the filter was changed?

 

Probably a while. Just bought the car a few months ago, and it has been sitting for a year. Its been sitting with a full tank of gas in it. Any other suggestions? Also does anyone have a engine wiring diagram because I found some wires that were cut and tucked away in the engine bay.

 

could be old gas also...now that you mention its been sitting...if it was me...i would change the filter and try it....if it still acts up....siphon the gas out and replace with fresh
