He posted it up to see what people thought, and I think the stripe looks like POOP. End of story. Other than that car looks great.

never understood the point of a CF overlay on the roof, which adds weight at the WORST possible place - the very highest point of the car. Sure hope it doesn't come up and fly off on the highway

Other than that it looks real clean.

The OEM roof was cut off and then the carbon roof was added saving about 12lbs. Most of the roofs are used to take out the OEM sunroof saving an average of 35lbs. He did not have a sunroof but the OEM roof was cut off saving him some weight. These roofs are on 8 second cars and time attack cars and not one has had delamination problems. In the case of his roof there are pop rivets under the side moldings so it definatly will not be flying off. That is the main misconception about the roofs. These are made to be functional not just cosmetic. Yes they are pretty but we designed them for weight reduction. This is the reason we did not come out with sunroof versions of the roof cap! Yes we could make a killing making sunroof versions but it defeats the purpose of the roof cap completely . Derek, your cars looks awesome!! Can't wait to get the wing finished designed and production made!

I would think besides a sunroof delete option, it would be a cheaper way to fix a hail damaged top...then again I have no idea about pricing...then again a body shop guy will chime in with "I fixed my hail damage for free...just used my shops supplies"

Whatever...

I am just happy to see an EF with a straight body and good paint.
