This is something Ive been working on over the winter and just got a final thumbs up from the track manager

These classes are being added onto a points race that will already be going on this weekend

There will be a heads up class that we are trying to combine sfwd cars with Awd and Rwd cars rules are (72mm turbo max. 2500lbs Min. 26in. slicks max.)

The bracket class will be anything goes

Payouts as of today March 4th 2009
Heads up class
Trophies for 1st and 2nd
1st place $2000
2nd place $1000
Semi's $500

Bracket class
trophy for 1st and 2nd
and im still waiting on a couple places to get back to me on money


The race will be held at the Western Colorado Dragway in Grand Junction Colorado its and NHRA sactioned track so all safety rules will be from NHRA rule book.

Im not sure how many all motor cars we would be able to get to come but if there was enough interest im sure i can make it happen

Its great to hear something happening with the sport compact cars here in Colorado. My hat is off to you Randall. We would love to go, but we have an event at the Colorado National Speedway that same day. We are almost finished building 2 cars to have some fun in NASCAR. The prelude will be ready this summer as well.
