Sign Build, 101 (Non car warning)
We needed a road side sign so we got some 1 1/2 inch square tubing, some 1/2 inch square tubing, pneumatic tires, and a 4 x 4 sign printed by Vital Signs. Here is a picture of the raw materials:

Here is the base tacked together:

Here is the frame to hold the sign tacked to the base:

Roll cage gusset for sign mount:

Rollin on 4's, check out the bling:

The finished product:

Thanks to Josh Hardy for painting the frame last night.

The only thing I wish I had done was to add a tab in the middle on top and bottom but I ran out of gussets. I will probably pick some more up shortly so it wont be a problem to add later. Thanks for the compliments.
The tires are 4 ft apart and there is a chain to secure it, hopefully wont have any issues. I still want to put some concrete in the lower tubing for stability.

Yeah, we did a 4 inch lift then put some snow tires on it which gave it an additional 1.5 inches clearance. I use it for taking my kayak to the river, adn stuff like that.
It does well and is quite fun to drive around on the gravel roads also. Would love to find a used lsd for the CG tranny and give it some lsd action. It has a class 3 hitch in the back also, although it doesnt want to pull anything over about 600 lbs.
