Default fidanza flywheel

ok so i bought a flywheel off ebay that was supposed to be a clutchmasters but when i got it, it was a fidanza. anyways my question is when i tried to put my clutch on the flywheel the little stubs that stick out of the flywheel dont line up to the pressure plate holes

so should i take those metal stubs off and just bolt on the clutch or do i have the wrong flywheel? if you every had a problem like this lmk thanks

Both Clutchmasters and Fidanza use a friction plate on their flywheels, they could be using the same flywheel, who knows. And the pressure plate i think will only go on one way maybe so you just gotta keep rotating it until it lines up.

The dowel pins center the pressure plate, !!!!!Do not remove them!!!!!! if you do especially with the rpms Hondas turn your clutch will probably come apart on you.

x2

he is 100% correct

i have that flywheel and a pressure plate WILL line up but it will only do so one way. do not remove those pins !

spin the plate until it lines up and make sure you loctite the flywheel bolts

btw clutchmasters just reboxes fidanza which is probably the best ultra light aluminum flywheel we can get.

Usually it takes some tapping in sometimes for the pressure plate to go on the pins.

i will post a pic to show do you guys think i have the wrong flywheel because i tried 3 different pressure plates with the same results i have a b series btw thanks for the help

maybe you bought the wrong flywheel. or they sent the wrong one.

holes should line up. make sure to rotate the pressure plate all the way around.

Don't remove the dowel pins since they are there to keep it centered and balanced. If you grind them off your flywheel and pressure plate may be off center, it will cause more headache to custom fit it that its worth. It's possible that an ebay seller sent the wrong item.
