Default Parking Brake Lead

Hey all, I am trying to install a new head unit into my 06 ex civic. I bought a pioneer avic-f900bt and in order for me to get to my system settings(because its grayed out) my brake lead needs to be connected. I thought i found the right wire under the wheel its light green by the brake pedal but when i start driving the head unit states that theres an improper connection of the brake lead. Can anyone help me please!!!!

brake lead? you mean for the e-brake? just out of curiousity, how'd you find out what wire to connect it to? if you're looking for the e-brake wire your best bet would be to take apart the center console and run it to the switch on the e-brake itself.
