Default Mitsu Evo rims on my DC5

So I just picked up Mitsubishi Evo rims up for my Integra. They are so bad ***! They are 8.5" wide compared to the Type-S 17" which are only 7" wide! I'll have a lot more tire contact. I haven't installed them yet cause they all need new tires. I also need hub rings cause they aren't for our hub. But I mounted one up here's a pick.

They fill the wheel well so perfect and come out all the way to the fender! So so sexy in person! Pictures do it no justice

Looks nice!! Gotta love the extra rubber.

Are they forged?

I believe so. I can't believe they are lighter and wider. But they were made for the Evo which is one sick car!

Use a 245/40 instead. A 245/45 is way too tall by nearly an inch.

Wheels look good, pretty sure they are cast though and also made by enkei just like the stock wheels. The MR BBS wheels are forged.

I wouldn't doubt they would be lighter if they are forged!

Better wheels can easily be bigger and weigh a significant amount less... Part of the reason they are better!

I had second thoughts before I saw them but they do look good. I'm a sucker for your stock wheels though.

I like the stock wheels but these are so much wider for better traction

I love wideness haha. I'm going for some 17x9.5 front 17x8 rear RPF1's this summer for when I hit the track.
