Okay.. Ive looked everywhere for the problem! I cant find where the wires are F'ED up.. I was thinking about rewiring the ignition output signal wires (if this is possible?).. Can some please give me a thread or something to help me know where the wires run to? from the ignition to ecu to distributor?? or however they go.. and wat color wires they would be?? thank you

 

do you by chance have an HF and are trying to use an Si engine harness? if so, that is your problem with the igniter code 15 - the HF chassis harness has the igniter wire in the connector at the driver's side where the Si has it in the connector at the passenger side - that won't be your only problem as the firewall connectors at the driver's side have all of the wires in different locations from the Si - engine harnesses are not interchangeable

the igniter wires are the black/yellow in the 2-wire distributor connector which comes from the ignition switch and the thick white wire in the round 7-pin connector at the distributor which splits into 2 wires inside the harness and runs to ECU pins B15 and B17

 

I DO HAVE AN HF!! wow THANKS ALOT MAN!! THIS IS SOMETHING I DID NOT KNOW! i have an SI engine harness! i get spark when i use MY HF one but i throw codes 6 and 10 and the check engine light stays on the whole time and it wont start.. i dunno wats wrong with it

 

so wat is it that i need to do? can i use my SI Harness and reroute some wires??? or do i need to switch back to my hf harness and figure out wats wrong with that??

 

does your HF engine harness still have the connector for the EGR valve?

thanks alot man.. this is "f- salt" my sn got banned do to the "f word" being in my sn which i think is pretty lame. But anywas.. which wire is the wire off the disty that i need to cut? is it in the 2 wire connector on the disty??? because I know there is 2 white wires that run through the big connector on the disty? would it be them?

 

bump.. another question.. MY NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH IS broke.. the sensor.. is there a way i can just wire this to stay on.. ???

 

my car JUST STARTED FOR THE FIRST TIME!! NO CODES WHATSOEVER!!!! CODE 3 FOR MAP SENSOR BUT THATS because i didnt plug it in!!

 

just connect the 2 wires together - just don't forget that it will start without the clutch pedal depressed
